How The Rich Get Thin
Read what Dr. Klauer has to say about Ed’s Kasilof Seafoods in her new book!

“Wild Alaskan salmon is lower in mercury than Atlantic salmon. It is free of PCBs, which are cancer-causing contaminants found in farmed salmon. I have found absolutely delicious products at www.kasilofseafoods.com. They carry vacuum-packed frozen salmon fillets, canned wild salmon (great for salads, comes as fresh or smoked salmon), and red crabmeat. Everything is well packaged and top quality.” – Jana Klauer, M.D.

Here is another excerpt from Dr. Klauer’s New book:

“Here’s a great protein find. Ed’s Kasilof Seafoods is an Alaskan fishery where the salmon is wild, not farmed. The waters of Alaska are not as high in mercury as the Atlantic Ocean. They feature canned salmon that comes in 7.5 ounce cans–good for two nice portions at 120 calories per portion, 17 g of protein, 0 carbs, and rich in omega-3 fats. They also carry canned, smoked, flaked salmon that is delicious, and other varieties of seafoods, including halibut and king crab. Call 1-800-982-2377 or visit their Web site, www.kasilofseafoods.com.”

Wow, this place has the best, freshest, and delicious sea food. It's not cheap, but the smoking is done by them with their secret recipe. In the retail outlet on the Sterling Highway you will find a big selection of sea food. Mostly frozen and can be shipped from there for an extra cost.
