If you think you can only get delicious snow crab legs during “the season,” think again. Because it’s pre-cooked and flash frozen almost immediately after catch. Crab retains its delectable taste and firm texture that can be enjoyed any time of the year. Just thaw and serve chilled- warm, melted butter optional. Once the snow crab is thawed, be sure to store it in the refrigerator and use the crab meat within two days.
Snow crab legs is low in fat and calories, yet high in protein, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium and iron. It is also a good source of Folate and Magnesium, and a very good source of Vitamin B12, Phosphorus, Zinc, Copper and Selenium.
